Peter Glare of Peter S. Glare & Associates amalgamated with Nevett Wilkinson Frawley on the 1st July 2012 and has been practicing as a Barrister and Solicitor for over 33 years.
Peter has extensive experience in the Liquor and Hospitality Industry, having been operating in this area of law for over thirty years. From Hotels to Restaurants and Motels, Peter is in a position to give invaluable advice regarding all issues applicable to the sale or purchase of any of these Businesses.
Admitted to practice on the 1st April 1982 after completing the RMIT Articled Clerks Course.
Prior to being admitted to practice, he worked with the firm of Hall & Thompson for four years as an Articled Clerk. Hall & Thompson then continued to employ him following the completion of his course and remained in their employ until the practice was sold to Maurice Blackburn & Co. In 1993 he purchased the Beaufort Branch of Maurice Blackburn from that firm and operated the business in sole name until the 1st July 2012.
Hall & Thompson were the leaders in liquor licensing and Peter has continued to operate in that field, he also specialises in the area of franchise law and in particular, the establishment of Community Banks through Bendigo Bank. He also represents clients who own franchises through Subway, Baker’s Delight and Wendy’s.
