Matthew is a lawyer with a diverse practise in commercial law and litigation. Matthew has experienced rural and city-based practises, and has developed a broad practise across Commercial, Property, Personal & Corporate Insolvency, Construction, and Planning & Environment.

Matthew is also a skilled advocate, having won the Monash Law Students’ Society General Moot Competition (Junior Division) during his time at university.

Completing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at Monash University, Matthew was admitted to practice in 2018. Alongside that, Matthew attended TAFE at the Trade Institute of Victoria and completed a Certificate IV and Diploma of Building and Construction in 2018. With a background in town planning, Matthew completed a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning at University of New England, that is accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia.

In 2021, Matthew received his specialist accreditation with the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association’s (ARITA) Advanced Certificate in Insolvency & Restructuring and Turnaround. He was commended Highest Achiever Nationally for placing equal first in Australia in Advanced Restructuring and Turnaround.

Matthew also holds a specialist postgraduate qualification, Graduate Certificate in Restructuring and Turnaround at University of Technology Sydney.

Occasionally, Matthew engages in wine tasting having attained WSET Level 3 Award in Wines at Melbourne’s City Wine Shop, and a Diploma of Liberal Arts at Monash University.
